Your audit-ready CPD portfolio, built as you go.

Log each activity in minutes on your phone, tablet or computer, by voice or typing. VitalCPD drafts it in your Board's format for you to check, tracks your hours against your cycle, and keeps your portfolio ready if an Ahpra audit letter arrives.

VitalCPD is in a private beta, open to invited testers for now.

How it works

  1. 1

    Tell it what you did

Talk or type, in any order, straight after the shift or the course. Grammar doesn't matter.

  2. 2

    Check the draft

AI sorts your words into your Board's format and asks about anything missing. You check every answer before saving.

  3. 3

    Export for audit

A tidy record with your learning plan, activities, reflections and evidence, whenever you need it.

Everything an audit asks for

Boards expect a learning plan, a record of activities, reflection on each one and evidence of completion. VitalCPD keeps them together.

  • Hours against your cycle

Hours logged, interactive hours and days left for your Board's cycle, with a plain message about how much a month gets you there.

  • Log CPD one question at a time

Say what you did and what you learnt. AI drafts the entry in your Board's format and asks at most three follow-up questions.

  • Voice dictation

A mic on every text box, so you can talk instead of type. Handy one-handed after a shift.

  • AI help that sticks to your facts

The AI is instructed to take dates, hours, courses and events only from you. Suggested reflections are marked “AI suggested”, and you check everything before it's saved.

  • Learning plan

Set goals for the cycle, link activities to them as you go, and mark them achieved or dropped.

  • Evidence vault Pro

Keep certificates and photos with the activity they belong to.

Built by a paramedic

“VitalCPD started as the app I built for my own CPD. My portfolio was stored in several places, and after a few hours on a CPD activity, logging it and writing the reflection felt like too much effort compared with the learning. I enjoy the learning, not the logging.”

Questions

Is VitalCPD part of Ahpra or my Board?

No. VitalCPD is an independent record-keeping tool, built by a registered paramedic. It isn't affiliated with Ahpra or the National Boards, and it can't promise your CPD meets your Board's standard. Always check your Board's current standard.

Which professions does it support?

Paramedicine, nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, chiropractic, osteopathy, optometry, medical radiation practice, Chinese medicine, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practice. Not yet supported: medicine (doctors use an accredited CPD home), psychology, pharmacy and dental, whose CPD rules work differently.

Where do the hours and cycle dates come from?

From each Board's published CPD registration standard. Every profession page links to the Board's own page and says when we last checked it. Each set of rules is stored with the date it took effect, so when a Board changes its standard, past cycles keep the rules that applied then.

Will the AI make things up?

The AI is instructed to take facts only from you: dates, hours, course and provider names, and what happened. It may suggest how what you learnt applies to your practice; those answers are marked “AI suggested”. If you give it only a topic, it asks what you learnt instead of guessing. You check and approve every entry before it's saved, and the record is yours.

Can I write about patients?

Write about what you learnt, not who it was. Don't enter names or details that could identify a patient or a colleague. VitalCPD warns you if something you type looks like an identifier, such as a title and surname, a date of birth or a record number. It's a safety net, not a guarantee.
